Area of Effect Control Build
This build specializes in wiping out encampments (spawn camping) quickly while burning through unwanted low tier materials. Using Phase Shift, TEDDY or Shock Tower gives you reduced RPG Durability costs for the next two rockets fired.
Weapon Preference - Santa's Little Helper - Crit Rate - Reload - 2x Crit Damage. | Other Launchers will work, but a 3 Star (malachite) Santa's Little Helper (MAX LEVEL LOBBY) Can Crit for over 1 Million Damage. When you do not Crit it is fine because of the staggering 14,209 Impact that will leave anything left alive to be killed by TEDDY, Turrets, Shocker Tower, or More ROCKETS!
Commander- Trailblazer Quinn (Core Hero) - This can honestly be any Outlander you want it to be. The plus side of Trailblazer is her having both Shock Tower and the best stand alone TEDDY.
Team Perk- Preemptive Strike (Raven -Blockbuster Event) - Pretty simple, you shoot at things as they are spawning in and get extra damage.
Support 1- 8 Bit Demo (Blockbuster Event) - Every ability you use gives you a reduced Durability cost for the nest two rockets. This is a pretty flexible slot and can be switched for mobility, or extra Phase Shift perks if you do not care about the cost of shooting Explosive Weapons.
Support 2- Demolitionist Penny (ShadowOps Event) - Mandatory Support for this build. I mean what would you switch extra damage out for?
Support 3- Fragment Flurry Jess (Holiday Heroes Event) -Originally considered FFJ as the Commander for this build. Trailblazer doesn't really need the extra TEDDY Damage, but FFJ doesn't really need that many damn Fragments. I guess it is dealers choice where you use her, but she is mandatory for this build.
Support 4- Phase Scout Jess (Core Mythic) - The one extra Phase Shift certainly feels nice but not mandatory. This can be switched with anything you want to make the build feel more comfortable to your play style.
Support 5- Survivalist Jonesy (Core Hero) - I always try to include some element of survivabilty on any hero build that I plan on being in the action 100% of the time. I originally wanted to include Sanguine (Fortnitemares Event) but her name looks way too much like Linguine to me, and I do not want to get a rumbling in my tummy everytime I look at my hero build. This is also another flexible slot however and you should feel free in using any hero here that makes the setup more comfortable for your play style.
Final Thoughts- This is a very viable encampment clearer, but has a major draw back due to the cost of using Explosive Weapons. If you are an end game player like myself and tired of getting Sturdys and Malachite from expeditions this is the perfect way to blow off some of those frustrations. You can also be more conservative with your RPG shots by only shooting them at Mist Monsters and allowing your TEDDY, Shock Tower and Turrets clear out the trash mobs. Both a fun and effective build. (ps. Use Air Strike in place of Adrenaline Rush for extra memes)
